ശ്രീമഹാഭാഗവതം ദശമം കേരള ഭാഷാ ഗാനം -- 13/ 01 - 150
വത്സന്മാർ വരുന്നതു കണ്ടപ്പോൾ പശുക്കളും
ഉത്സാഹത്തോടു പാലും ചുരത്തി മണ്ടിച്ചെന്നു
തന്നുടെ വത്സന്മാരെ നക്കിയും ആഘ്രാണിച്ചും
നന്ദിച്ചും കുടിപ്പിച്ചും നിന്നതു മുന്നേപ്പോലെ.
ഇങ്ങിനെ പലദിനം കഴിഞ്ഞോരനന്തരം
അങ്ഗനമാർക്കും ഗോപാലന്മാർക്കും പശുക്കൾക്കും
അന്തരങ് ഗത്തിൽ തന്റെ നന്ദനന്മാരെ സ്നേഹ--
മെന്തെന്നതറിയാതെ വർദ്ധിച്ചു ദിനം തോറും.
ആരുമേയറിയാതെയോരാണ്ടു കഴിഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ
പാരാതങ്ങൊരു ദിനം കൃഷ്ണനും ബാലന്മാരും 110
ചിത്തമോദേന രാമനൊന്നിച്ചു വത്സന്മാരെ
തത്രൈവ സമീപത്തു മേച്ചുനിന്നിടും നേരം
ഗോക്കളും ഗോവർദ്ധനപർവതശിരസ്സിങ്കൽ
നിൽക്കുന്ന തൃണങ്ങളും ഭക്ഷിച്ചുനിൽക്കുന്നേരം
അന്പാടി സമീപത്തു ഗോവത്സങ്ങളെക്കണ്ടി--
ട്ടൻപോടു മുലകൊടുത്തീടുവാൻ ഓടീടിനാർ.
ഗോപന്മാർ തടുത്തിട്ടും നിൽക്കാഞ്ഞമൂലം പിന്പേ
കോപിച്ചു കോലും എടുത്തോടിച്ചെന്നിതു വേഗം.
ഗോക്കളും ചെന്നു മുലകൊടുത്തു വത്സന്മാർക്കും ;
നോക്കിനിന്നിതു ഗോപബാലരും സന്തോഷത്താൽ. 120
എത്രയും കോപത്തോടു വന്നൊരു ഗോപന്മാരും
പുത്രരെക്കണ്ടനേരം പ്രേമവിഹ്വലന്മാരായ്.
പുത്രരെക്കണ്ടു ഗോപവൃദ്ധന്മാർ ആശ്ലേഷം ചെയ്--
തെത്രയും സുഖത്തോടുമശ്രുക്കൾ വാർത്തീടിനാർ.
ഇത്തരം അതിസ്നേഹം കണ്ടൊരു ബലഭദ്രൻ
ചിത്തത്തിൽ നിരൂപിച്ചാൻ എന്തു കാരണം ഇപ്പോൾ.
മത്തകാശിനിമാർക്കും ഗോക്കൾക്കും ഗോപന്മാർക്കും
പുത്രരെ സ്നേഹമേറ്റം വർദ്ധിച്ചുവന്നീടുവാൻ ?
ദേവമായയും ദൈത്യമായയും അല്ല നൂനം
ദേവദേവനാം കൃഷ്ണൻതന്നുടെ മായയത്രേ! 130
ഇത്തരം ചിന്തിച്ചു താൻ കൃഷ്ണനോടുരചെയ് തു:--
"ചിത്രമെത്രയും തവ മായാവൈഭവമോർത്താൽ.
വെവ് വേറെക്കാണുന്നതും ഒന്നായിക്കാണുന്നതും
സർവ് വവും ഭവാനെന്നു ഞാനറിഞ്ഞിരിയ് ക്കുന്നു.
മുന്നം ഞാൻ അറിഞ്ഞതില്ലിത്തൊഴിലേതും, ഞാനും
ഇന്നറിഞ്ഞിതു, തവ മായമാരറിയുന്നു?"
ഇത്തരം ബലഭദ്രൻ ചൊല്ലിനിന്നീടുന്നേരം
തത്ര വന്നിതു കമലാസനൻ വേഗത്തോടും.
തന്നുടെ കാലമൊരു നിമിഷം ചെന്നനേരം
വന്നിതു ധാതാവതു വത്സരം മനുഷ്യർക്കു. 140
അംഭോജാസനൻ ഗോപാലന്മാരെക്കണ്ടനേരം
സംഭ്രമം പൂണ്ടു നിരൂപിച്ചിതു മനതാരിൽ:--
"മുന്നം ഞാൻ മറച്ചോരു ബാലരും വത്സന്മാരും
ഇന്നുമുണ്ടല്ലോ മമ മായയിൽക്കിടക്കുന്നു.
എങ്കിലാരിവരിന്നു പങ് കജനേത്രനോടും
സങ് കടമെന്യേ കളിച്ചങ്ങിനെ നടക്കുന്നു?"
ഇത്തരം വിധാതാവു ചിന്തിച്ചങ്ങിരിയ് ക്കുന്പോൾ
എത്രയും മനോഹരമായൊന്നു കാണായ് വന്നു.
തത്ര നിന്നൊരു ഗോപബാലന്മാരെല്ലാവരും
എത്രയും മനോജ്ഞമാം വൈഷ്ണവരൂപം പൂണ്ടാർ. 150
Chapter 13, Lines 101 — 150
Seeing the calves coming toward them, the cows ran towards them with milk oozing from their udders (caused by VAlsalyam). As usual, they stood there licking , feeding and enjoying the scent of their young ones.
Chapter 13, Lines 105-120

When several days passed like this, for some unknown reason, affection towards their children increased day by day in the minds of GOpAs, GOpikAs, and cows. Like this, one whole year passed by with out anybody knowing about what happened.
One day, Krishna, along with young GOpAs and Rama were grazing the calves. At the same time, the cows were eating the grass on top of GOvardhana mountain. When the cows saw the calves they started running towards AmbaaTi (Vridavanam) to feed their babies. Older GOpas (who were grazing the mother cows) tried to stop them, but they could not. So they started running behind the animals with sticks. But the cows approached the calves and started feeding them and young GOpAs just stood there enjoying the scene.

When they came there running after the cows, Older GOpAs were very angry. But when they saw their children (young GOpAs), they were overwhelmed by affection. Seeing their children, Older GOpAs embraced them and shed tears of love and joy. Balabhadra noticed this increased affection and thought in his mind:
"What is the reason for this increased affection in the minds of GOpikAs, cows and GOpAs?" Certainly it is not the MAya of DEvAs or AsurAs. Definitely, it must be the MAya of the Lord of Lords, Krishna"
He thought like this and said to Krishna:
"Your MAya is amazing. I realize that whatever I see as separate entities or as just one entity, all are you. I did not know about this pastime of yours before, but I know now. Who knows the full extent and magnificence of your MAya? "
Lines 137-150

When Balabhadra was speaking the above words to Krishna, Lord Brahma or Lord Kamalaasana (one whose seat is a lotus) quickly arrived there. For Lord Brahma, only one second had lapsed, but it was equivalent to one year for humans. Lord Brahma was perplexed to see the young GOpAs there all together and thought:
" Those GOpAs and calves whom I had hidden using my MAya are still there where I kept them. Then who are these GOpAs and calves happily playing with the lotus-eyed Krishna?"
While Lord Brahma sat there lost in perplexed thought, a “heart-stealing” phenomenon occurred. All those young GOpAs turned into the beautiful form of Lord VishNu (teaching Lord Brahma that the whole cosmos is nothing but the Maaya of BhagavAn KR^shNa who is none other than Lord VishNu.)
